Fighters from Saturday’s UFC 283 event received $359,500 in UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay.
The previous payments made under the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy have been replaced by the program, a comprehensive plan that includes fighter code of conduct items like outfitting requirements, media obligations, and more.
In Brazil, UFC 283 took place at Jeunesse Arena. After the preliminary rounds on ABC and ESPN+, the main card was shown on pay-per-view.

Fighters are paid according to their total number of UFC bouts, as well as Zuffa-era WEC fights (January 2007 and later) and Zuffa-era Strikeforce fights (April 2011 and later) under the UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program’s payout tiers, which appropriate the money generated by Venum’s multi-year sponsorship with the UFC. Fighters who have 1-3 fights each get $4,000 for each appearance; 4 to 5 fights earn $4,500; $6,000 for six to ten bouts; $11,000 is earned by 11-15 bouts; $16,000 is won by 16-20 bouts; and $21,000 for 21 or more bouts Additionally, title challengers receive $32,000 while champions receive $42,000.
According to officials, in addition to experience-based pay, fighters in the UFC will receive royalty payments for life, equal to 20-30% of any UFC merchandise sold that features their likeness.
